What does it take to dress a Clemson football player?
There’s a lot that goes into getting the Tigers ready to play before they run down The Hill at Death Valley. Beyond all of the training and drills and hard work that goes into preparing for the season, there’s also a lot of equipment.
When we asked assistant equipment director DJ Gordon to help us out with what it takes to dress a football player, he provided us a list of 23 items, plus 13 decals that every skill player — running backs, defensive backs and wide receivers — is wearing when the team hits the field. That’s a lot of gear.
So take a look at corner-back Marcus Edmond, dressed for action. You might see the players a little differently next time they run down The Hill.
