Rear: Adams, Crapps, Faerber, Park.<br \/>Not pictured: Eyraud Photo Credit: JacobDeanPhotography.com<\/p><\/div><br \/>\nThe <a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/young-alumni\/\">Young Alumni Council<\/a>\u00a0(YAC) has recognized the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/awards-and-honors\/the-roaring-10\/\">2016 Roaring 10<\/a> \u2014 young\u00a0alumni who have made\u00a0an impact in business,\u00a0leadership, community,\u00a0educational and\/or\u00a0philanthropic endeavors.<br \/>\nThis year\u2019s honorees are:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/keenan-adams-10\/\">KEENAN ADAMS M \u201907, Ph.D. \u201910,\u00a0DENVER, COLORADO<\/a><br \/>\nAdams received both a master\u2019s\u00a0degree in forest resources and a\u00a0doctorate in wildlife and fisheries\u00a0biology from Clemson. Adams is the\u00a0supervisory wildlife biologist for the\u00a0U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fws.gov\/refuges\/\">National Wildlife Refuge System<\/a> in\u00a0Colorado. He is an active member\u00a0of Alpha Psi Phi and participates\u00a0in the Omega Leadership Academy\u00a0Mentorship Program.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/manning-crapps-06\/\">MANNING CRAPPS \u201906, LEXINGTON<\/a><br \/>\nCrapps received a degree from\u00a0Clemson in economics and went on\u00a0to a successful career in banking.\u00a0He works at First Community Bank,\u00a0where he is the bank\u2019s expert in\u00a0solutions for business retirement\u00a0plans. He was part of the group that\u00a0created the Lexington Beautification\u00a0Foundation, which is dedicated to\u00a0beautifying the scenic and historic\u00a0community. He is president of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/club\/lexington-clemson-club\/\">Lexington County Clemson Club<\/a>.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/lily-eyraud-12\/\">LILY EYRAUD \u201912, CHARLOTTE,\u00a0NORTH CAROLINA<\/a><br \/>\nEyraud graduated with a degree\u00a0in financial management and\u00a0accounting and is pursuing a master\u00a0of business administration at Duke\u00a0University. She works as a financial\u00a0planner at TIAA-CREF. She has\u00a0been a United Way Young Leaders\u00a0Council member since 2013, is\u00a0the communications lead for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/club\/charlotte-clemson-club\/\">Charlotte Clemson Club<\/a> and is a\u00a0regional recruitment coordinator\u00a0for Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She\u00a0was recently named the Alumni\u00a0Association\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/p63Bn8-4iQ\">Volunteer of the Year<\/a>.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/capt-nelson-faerber-iii-09\/\">NELSON FAERBER III \u201909, TUCSON,\u00a0ARIZONA<\/a><br \/>\nFaerber holds a law degree from\u00a0Florida State University to go with\u00a0his bachelor\u2019s degree in construction\u00a0science management from Clemson.\u00a0He attended Clemson on a full\u00a0athletic scholarship and was named\u00a0the Clemson Football 2008 Special\u00a0Teams Player of the Year. Post-college\u00a0he served in Afghanistan\u00a0and was recognized as company\u00a0grade officer of the quarter and of\u00a0the year. He currently serves in the\u00a0U.S. Air Force JAG Corps, providing\u00a0legal assistance to a community of\u00a0more than 20,000 airmen and their\u00a0families.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/jamilah-frazier-15\/\">JAMILAH\u00a0FRAZIER\u00a0M \u201915, NORTH\u00a0CHARLESTON<\/a><br \/>\nFrazier received\u00a0her master\u2019s\u00a0degree in public\u00a0administration\u00a0from Clemson\u00a0and works at\u00a0Charleston\/Dorchester\u00a0Mental Health,\u00a0where she\u00a0coordinates\u00a0accreditation\u00a0and quality\u00a0improvement.\u00a0She also owns\u00a0her own business providing workplace\u00a0CPR\/first aid training. She is an\u00a0advisory member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/club\/charleston-county-clemson-club\/\">Charleston\u00a0County Clemson Club<\/a> and works with\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/black-alumni-council\/\">Clemson Black Alumni Council<\/a>.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/paul-halphen-10\/\">PAUL HALPHEN \u201910, GREENVILLE<\/a><br \/>\nHalphen received his degree in\u00a0financial management and joined\u00a0First Citizens Bank and Trust, where\u00a0he was ranked second out of more\u00a0than 200 leaders for new portfolio\u00a0volume. He is currently an investment\u00a0manager with Kairos Real Estate, and\u00a0he volunteers for multiple community\u00a0organizations. He is on Clemson\u2019s\u00a0Library Leadership Board, is a\u00a0long-time mentor for the College of\u00a0Business and was YAC president.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/ben-leader-10\/\">BEN LEADER \u201910, CHARLOTTE,\u00a0NORTH CAROLINA\u00a0<\/a><br \/>\nLeader received his bachelor\u2019s\u00a0degree in political science from\u00a0Clemson and his law degree from the\u00a0Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. He served as a law clerk for the\u00a0Honorable John C. Hayes III of 16th\u00a0Judicial Circuit of South Carolina, and\u00a0now works for the Elrod Pope Law\u00a0Firm as an associate. He has been an\u00a0at-large member of Clemson\u2019s YAC\u00a0since 2014 and serves on the board\u00a0of the York County Clemson Club in\u00a0Rock Hill.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/maj-brock-lusk-15\/\">BROCK LUSK \u201902, M \u201915, WALHALLA\u00a0<\/a><br \/>\nLusk completed Clemson\u2019s ROTC\u00a0program, graduated with a degree\u00a0in history and was commissioned\u00a0into the U.S. Air Force. He came\u00a0back to Clemson and earned his\u00a0master\u2019s degree in 2015. In between,\u00a0he served multiple deployments in\u00a0Iraq and Afghanistan. He currently\u00a0serves as the director of operations\u00a0and assistant professor of aerospace\u00a0studies for the Clemson Air Force\u00a0ROTC. He is on the board of directors\u00a0of the Clemson Corps. Seven\u00a0additional names have been added to\u00a0Clemson\u2019s Scroll of Honor as a direct\u00a0result of his research.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/david-newton-10\/\">DAVID NEWTON \u201908, M \u201910,\u00a0MOUNT PLEASANT\u00a0<\/a><br \/>\nNewton earned his bachelor\u2019s and\u00a0master\u2019s degrees in civil engineering\u00a0while competing as a member of the\u00a0varsity soccer team. He is currently\u00a0completing his master of business\u00a0administration from the Kenan-\u00a0Flagler Business School at the\u00a0University of North Carolina-Chapel\u00a0Hill as a 2017 merit fellow. He\u00a0serves as a marketing and product\u00a0manager for Ingevity Corporation\u2019s\u00a0North American asphalt modification\u00a0business in Charleston. Newton\u00a0has served on the executive board\u00a0of the Carolina Youth Development\u00a0Center and the Trident United Way\u00a0Young Philanthropist Society steering\u00a0committee.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/alumni.clemson.edu\/brian-park-10\/\">BRIAN PARK \u201910, M \u201914, ATLANTA\u00a0<\/a><br \/>\nPark earned bachelor\u2019s degrees in\u00a0economics and political science and\u00a0a master\u2019s degree in economics. He\u00a0attended law school at the University\u00a0of Virginia, where he was elected president of the student body and\u00a0served as an editor for the Virginia\u00a0Environmental Law Journal. He is\u00a0a corporate associate at King &amp;\u00a0Spalding LLP in Atlanta, where he\u00a0represents both publicly traded and\u00a0privately held companies in mergers\u00a0and acquisitions, capital-raising\u00a0transactions and general corporate\u00a0governance matters.
