Anholt will also have a leadership role in the College of Science as the director of Faculty Excellence Initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><b>OTHER NOTABLE NAMES THAT JOINED CLEMSON\u00a0<span style=\"caret-color: #000000;\">UNIVERSITY<\/span>\u00a0IN 2018 INCLUDE:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Mark Johnson,<\/b> former director of the Advanced Manufacturing Office in the U.S. Department of Energy\u2019s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, became the founding director of the Center for Advanced Manufacturing and the Thomas F. Hash \u201969 SmartState Endowed Chair in Sustainable Development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s3\" style=\"color: #000000;\">Former Georgia Tech professor and National Science Foundation program director <b>Chris Paredis<\/b> joined Clemson as the new BMW Endowed Chair in Systems Integration for Clemson University\u2019s International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Accomplished scholar and cybersecurity expert <b>Sally A. McKee<\/b> joined Clemson as the<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">C. Tycho Howle Chair in Collaborative Computing Environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Leslie Hossfeld,<\/b> professor and head of the sociology department at Mississippi State University, joined Clemson as dean of the College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Keith L.
