Douglas Piper ’09 is a linoleum-block print artist based in Greenville. When it became clear that the coronavirus pandemic would temporarily close schools and keep kids at home with their parents and guardians, Piper converted some of his prints into free coloring pages, like “Early Morning Sunrise.” Download the full coloring book here.
In April, Piper also created a “Thank You” print (below) that was designed “to serve and thank those who are serving.” Depending on the buyer’s preference, some proceeds from the print purchase were donated to the Prisma Health COVID-19 Response Fund or another identical print was gifted to a healthcare professional.
