New Automotive Engineering Degree

This fall, the first cohort of students in the undergraduate automotive engineering program will enter Clemson, making the University the first in the nation with a complete bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. pathway within automotive engineering. 

Currently, there are 200 students enrolled in the master’s degree program and 69 in the Ph.D. program. Ninety-five percent of graduates are employed in the automotive industry by companies such as BMW, Tesla, Michelin, Proterra and Honda.
