Kalam Momin M ’87 recently visited the Hagia Sophia (“Holy Wisdom” in Latin) in Istanbul. Originally built in 360 C.E. and rebuilt later in 537 C.E., the Hagia Sophia is a great architectural beauty and an important monument for both the Byzantine and Ottoman empires.
