A revelry-filled campus tradition came full circle in May when country music legend George Strait, joined by Cody Johnson and Wyatt Flores, performed “in the round” in front of 90,000 fans. The last time Death Valley hosted a live concert was 1999, also headlined by Strait.

The concert marks the first of several Death Valley Nights performances organized in partnership with Clemson Athletics, Clemson Athletic Ventures and Does Entertainment. The music series is designed to bring some of the world’s top performers to campus, rekindling a long-standing love of live music for fans and Tigers far and near.
