Tiger siblings Stephen, Sarah, and Carlene Vance visit their parents who live in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, during the winter holidays. Encountered locals who recognized the Tiger Paw on 12/30/14 and said they watched Clemson beat Oklahoma in the bowl game the night before.
Mike (MBA ’06) and Jennifer (HIST ’92) Johnson McClain celebrated 15 years of marriage during a trip to Iceland and one of the highlights was a visit to the very beautiful Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon on the southeast coast of the country. One note: Mike and Jennifer had the 2nd wedding in the Owen Pavilion at the Madren Center (Danny Ford’s daughter was the first).

During a visit to Grand Cayman with my girlfriend, Kirsten Gary who graduated from SMU, I went SCUBA diving with her Dad, Donald Gary. Donald lives and works in Grand Cayman. One of the dives we completed was on the wreck of the USS Kittiwake in Grand Cayman, which can be seen in the background.

As a high school history teacher, Lisa Ferrara Cain ’91 attended the Centropa Summer Academy to learn 20th Century Jewish history. While there, the teachers followed in the footsteps of Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s journey before his assassination. They began in Vienna and ended in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, where at the north end of the Latin Bridge, the archduke was assassinated in 1914.
