Members of Clemson Fire & EMS participated in the 9/11 Silent Walk in Charleston on 9/11/2015. This walk was to honor the 343 firefighters that lost their lives on that day. CUFD personnel donned their turnout gear and air packs and walked 5.5 miles over the Arthur Ravenel Bridge and back to pay tribute. The hose pack being carried had the names of all 343 firefighters & their assignments for that day written on it. The hose pack was passed back and forth from person to person and weighed an additional 50 pounds.
