Candace Hall ’10, Lyndsey Williams Mayweather ’10, April Smith ’08, Alexia Richardson ’10 and Nyamekyer Sonja Badu ’11 celebrated their 32nd birthdays in the mountains of Tennessee on a hiking trip led by fellow Clemson alum Ryan Maum ’17, who owns and operates Experience Chattanooga. Ryan shot the photo of the group on the overlook of Cumberland Mountain. “We celebrated our 19th birthdays together in Calhoun Courts and have been celebrating together ever since!” wrote Lynsey.
Patrick Sturgis ’12 was relocated to Australia for work just before the pandemic. Most state borders within the country have been closed since March, but when the Northern Territory opened its borders, he quickly jumped on the opportunity to take a trip to Alice Springs to see the remote Australian outback.
Lindsay Hanf ’19 joined a young adult backpacking tour around Southeast Asia. The trip included a trek to the summit of Mount Sibayak, a volcano in Berastagi, Indonesia.
Jamison ’92, Kristi ’93, M ’97, Cole ’22 and Wyatt Temples “loaded up the car and headed to the Keys” after their British Isles cruise was canceled. “We rented a house on the gulf side of Florida and spent the week fishing, snorkeling, swimming in the pool and eating great food!” wrote Jamison.
Madison Cutts M ’21 and Alex Powell ’19 visited the Rainbow Bridge National Monument in Lake Powell in Utah. The Rainbow Bridge is one of the world’s largest known natural bridges.
Chris Norfolk ’00, senior lecturer in chemical engineering, and his parents, Roger and Sandra Norfolk, after took a photo with their Tiger Rag after spending the day cleaning up downed trees and debris at the Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On August 10, 2020, a straight-line wind event, with wind speeds estimated at 140 mph (equivalent to a category 4 hurricane), hit central Iowa without warning.
Glen Massey ’92 visited her daughter, who was participating in a gap year program in Pretoria, South Africa.
Long-time friends Chris Bruno ’04, M ’06 and James Robilotta M ’07 reunited in Minneapolis just after the first big snow in October 2020. They toured the University of Minnesota campus and snapped a picture in front of the Golden Gophers stadium with their Tiger Rag — the day before the first Minnesota football game.
