Shannon Outen ’95, her husband, Hal, her son Zach Outen ’22 and her parents, Brian and Kathy Connolly, visited the Rock of Cashel on their trip to Ireland.
Arthur ’05, M ’18 and Lindsay ’05 Yon traveled to the Republic of Ireland in July 2018 “to watch our niece’s choir sing and to tour the country. This is a photo of us at Trim Castle, a large Norman castle built in the 12th century. The castle is a cultural landmark and was featured in parts of the film Braveheart.”
Caitlin Davis ’14 visited Ireland in June 2018 on her first trip overseas.
Armed with Rick Steves’ Travel Guide, we set off on a 14-day adventure, staying in hostels and B&Bs, while exploring my father’s ancestral home. Highlight was actually finding relatives I knew not at the 19th Century family home in Co. Clare. Photo is from atop Blarney Castle just after kissing The Stone to ensure my Irish eloquence as I age.
Clemson pride is everywhere, and our Tiger Rag is always along for the ride! June 7th, we celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary in Ireland, and this view was simply breathtaking. The Cliffs of Moher are a must see.

Vacationing at the Ring of Kerry during Doyle family reunion at Castletownroche, Ireland, near Cork in June/July 2014. They stayed for a week in the 900-year-old Blackwater Castle.
