Walley Turner ’69 and Sally Walker Tucker ’99 of Chapin share their Tiger pride in Kenya while visiting the Mully Children’s Family while on a mission trip with their church. Tiffany Sweeney ’99 traveled to Havana, Cuba, in March and came across a Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Sweeney said she was amazed to see how influential the Civil Rights Movement was in the U.S. to have made a mark in another country. Rhett Mitchell III ’05 shares his second-generation Tiger Rag at the top of Pico de Orizaba, 18,491' elevation. The Tiger Rag is from Rhett Mitchell Jr. ’79* who has owned it since 1975. Brad French ’98 and Lindsey Marriott ’05 show they’re all in, even when across the Atlantic Ocean. Tyler Youngman ’13 and John Launius ’11 show their Tiger pride while motorbiking through rural Vietnam. Jessie ’03, Chris ’03, Parker and Catherine Kelly visited Hole in the Rock in Phoenix, Arizona, prior to Clemson shutting out Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl. Katie Justice ’15, Rebecca Thomas ’15* and Ashley Summers ’15 share their Tiger pride among the tulips in Amsterdam. Jordan Hollis ’12 summited Diamond Head, an inactive volcano on Oahu, Hawaii, in January. Steven Hendrix ’91 is currently serving as a missionary engineer in Kiruani, Tanzania, with Full Dimension Ministry. Margaret Hearon ’09 took her Tiger Rag to Mont Saleve in Geneva, Switzerland, in April. She was in Switzerland for a global nonwovens trade show. Sean Connolly ’00, M ’02 flies his Tiger Rag from central China in Yangshuo where he was visiting Wuhan University to talk about packaging science. John Young ’88, Philip Bradley ’92, Phil Dufford ’88 and Glen Gardner’00 sailed the British Virgin Islands in February.
