Our family summer vacation to the Southwest included a stop in the other Death Valley at Badwater Salt Basin, lowest elevation in North America. The temperature at the time of the photo was a relatively mild 107 F.
San Diego Comic Con: Clemson Man (Terence Martin ’87)
His trusty orange cape none the worst for wear, Terence Martin, a proud Tiger alum with a B.A. in Sociology, (and a law degree from that other university in S.C.) actually flew commercial to represent Clemson at the f0ur-day comics, movies and TV celebration at the San Diego Convention Center from July 21 – 24.

Cambodia: Lee Moore ’91 and Donna Moore M ’15
Our family toured Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia for our summer vacation this year. We experienced some amazingly different culture and food and had lots of fun while we were there. We took several pictures with the Tiger Rag to represent Clemson in some of the most beautiful locations we visited. If you ever have a chance to tour that area with an English speaking guide, take it! It was absolutely a trip of a lifetime! This picture is Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Argentina: Clemson Men's Soccer Team in La Boca, Buenos Aires
The Clemson men’s soccer team spent two weeks in Argentina in May 2016 on an international tour that included two cities (Buenos Aires and Rosario), playing five friendlies, attending three professional games, visiting many tourist sites (some related and some unrelated to soccer) and countless memories that will last a lifetime. This picture was taken in La Boca neighborhood in Buenos Aires following a special day that included a tour of the facilities of Boca Juniors, one of the most popular professional teams in Argentina, and a highly competitive and emotional game of street soccer against some of the locals.
