Holly Beard ’94, a psychology instructor at Midlands Technical College, took a group of social and behavior science students to London for spring break 2019. Fellow MTC colleagues Rhonda Washington ’93 and Sharee Washington ’93 joined in on the fun at Windsor Castle.

Jennifer Saylors ’98 visited the Singapore Botanic Gardens in March 2019. It is the only tropical garden to be honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later that evening, Saylors saw a Malayan Tiger.
Mary Anne Wolthuis ’92 and Bethany Alice Wolthuis ’21 are a grandmother/granddaughter duo who visited several places in China in May 2018, including the Great Wall. Mary Anne and her husband lived in Shanghai from 1998-2001. When Bethany was around 10 years old, Mary Anne told her, “Sometime, I’ll take you to China.”
Kathleen D’Agati Coughlin ’06 and her family took a trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla. “To keep track of my six kids at Disney World, we dawned our Tiger gear. We even alternated each day wearing either purple Clemson shirts or orange!”
Karl Bossard ’18 and Jake Erickson ’17, both second lieutenants at Columbus Air Force Base, celebrate Erickson’s graduation from the U.S. Air Force flight school. Jake is assigned to Fairchild AFB, Wash., to fly the KC-135 Stratotanker.
“I live in Charleston, S.C., but recently began working on a new business project with Mercedes Benz in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Of course, I have to show my Clemson pride while I’m here.”
While working for the nonprofit Water of Life, Sarah McAllister Kelley ’09 made the trip to Sierra Leone, West Africa, to drill a new water well for a local village.
